Does Prime Cosmetic have its own brand on the market?

Accepted Answer

As a private label manufacturer, we develop and produce exclusively for our customers. We therefore have no private label, no online shop, and no factory outlet. This eliminates any competition with our customers.

Is it possible to adapt existing Prime Cosmetic formulas to our needs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that's possible to a certain extent. We can customize our existing formulas to your specifications regarding fragrance, viscosity, and color. However, please note that a stability test, which takes between two and four months, will then automatically be required.

What is the minimum order quantity for the finished products?

To achieve an economically favorable price, we recommend purchasing the following bulk and bottling quantities.
In bulk:
 • Eye products between 25 - 50 kg
 • Serums, creams and masks for weights over 100 kg
 • Liquid lotions, oils, shampoos and cleansing milks from 250 kg

Our production is carried out according to GMP and ISO-2001 certified standards.

How long does it take to deliver an order?

Accepted Answer

Since our formulations are finalized, meaning stability testing, microbiological testing, microbiological testing, etc., are complete, you can expect a very short delivery time after placing your order. For bulk orders, we can deliver within two to four weeks (depending on raw material availability). For full-service orders, it can take up to ten weeks, as we are dependent on the delivery times of our packaging suppliers.

Can we have our own formulas developed at Prime Cosmetic?

We primarily focus on the further development and expansion of our own product range . We do not offer the development of general formulas for third parties.
Exception: In the context of a specific order , we can develop and add new, missing recipes from our existing product lines for customers.

Question 10

Can I order only the bulk product from Prime and handle the remaining services myself, or have them done by another contract bottler?

With Prime, it's generally possible to order only the bulk product and handle the remaining services (filling and packaging) yourself or have them done by another contract filler. To ensure everything runs smoothly, you'll receive the filling instructions with your bulk order, so your filling service provider can easily take care of this task.

Does Prime Cosmetic have a development lab?

Yes, we have fully equipped, modern development labs with our own developers in both Germany and the EU. For specialized developments, we also collaborate with external contract laboratories as needed.

Were the formulations tested for stability and microbiological safety?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that's one of the advantages Prime Cosmetic offers. You don't need to wait for Stabi or Mibi, because these tests are all completed and available immediately.

Question 13

Do the formulas have a safety report?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all our formulations come with their own safety report, which is rewritten for the customer upon order placement with their own product name and company name, allowing you to start selling immediately. The safety report and CPNP registration are included in our prices for bulk orders of 100 kg or more. This is, of course, contingent upon us receiving all necessary documentation regarding the packaging material and labeling.

What support do you offer with the documentation and registration of prescriptions?

Accepted Answer

When you order our formulations, we handle the registration and all associated procedures free of charge. This includes, for example, creating a safety report or registering with CPNP/PID under your company name.

Question 15

Can we commission a dermatological test for the ordered formulations?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can order a dermatological test for any prescription you order from us, at your own expense. Since the dermatological test is quite comprehensive, please inquire about the duration and cost if you are interested and wish to place an order.

Question 16

Is it possible to obtain test samples of the recipes that interest us?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you should definitely order samples of the recipes you are interested in so that you can see for yourself the quality of the recipes.

Please note that these formulations are not stock items and each sample must be individually prepared for you in our laboratory, which takes between 30 and 60 minutes. Therefore, we unfortunately have to charge a nominal handling fee for each sample to cover our costs. This fee is currently €50 per product + VAT, including shipping within Germany. For international shipping, postage costs will be added. The sample fee will be credited towards any order placed within one year.

What are Prime Cosmetic's payment terms?

Accepted Answer

For new customers and first orders, we work with a 50% deposit upon receipt of order and the remaining payment before delivery; for regular and existing customers, the remaining payment is possible by invoice after approval by the credit agencies.
