Does Prime Cosmetic have its own brand on the market?

Accepted Answer

As a private label manufacturer, we develop and produce exclusively for our customers. We therefore have no private label, no online shop, and no factory outlet. This eliminates any potential competition with our customers.

Is it possible to adapt existing Prime Cosmetic formulations to our needs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that's possible within certain limits. We can customize our existing formulations in terms of fragrance, viscosity, and color according to your wishes. However, please note that this automatically requires a stability test, which takes between two and four months.

What is the minimum order quantity for the finished recipes?

Accepted Answer

To achieve an economically favorable price, we recommend purchasing the following bulk and filling quantities.
As bulk:
 • Eye products between 25 - 50 kg
 • Serums, creams and masks from 100 kg
 • Liquid lotions, oils, shampoos and cleansing milk from 250 kg

The minimum order quantity for packaging is 3,000 pieces (including 2 FB partial printing with text and logo).

What production quality standards does Prime Cosmetic have?

Our production is carried out according to GMP and ISO 2001 certified standards.

How long does it take to deliver an order?

Accepted Answer

Since our formulations are complete—meaning stability, microbial contamination, etc.—you can expect a very short delivery time from the time of order. For bulk orders, we can deliver within two to four weeks (depending on raw material availability); for full-service orders, it can take up to ten weeks, as we are dependent on the delivery times of the packaging suppliers.

Can we have our own recipes developed at Prime Cosmetic?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not develop recipes for third parties or external companies. Only on request can we supplement missing recipes from individual series in our range that you cannot find in the list by developing new ones.

Can I order only the bulk with Prime and handle the remaining services myself or have them done by another contract filler?

Accepted Answer

With Prime, it's generally possible to order only the bulk product and handle the remaining services (filling and packaging) yourself or outsource them to another contract filler. To ensure everything runs smoothly, you'll receive the filling instructions for your bulk order, so your filling service provider can easily handle this task.

Does Prime Cosmetic have a development laboratory?

Yes, we have fully equipped, modern development laboratories with our own developers in both Germany and the EU. For special developments, we also work with external contract laboratories as needed.

Have the recipes been tested for stability and microbiological safety?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that's one of the advantages Prime Cosmetic offers you. You don't have to wait for Stabi or Mibi, because these tests are all completed and available immediately.

Question 13

Do the recipes have a safety report?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all of our formulations come with their own safety report, which is rewritten with the customer's own product name and company name upon order placement, so you can start selling immediately. The safety report and CPNP registration are included in our prices for bulk orders of 100 kg or more. This is, of course, subject to the complete provision of all documentation regarding the packaging material and label.

What support do you offer with documenting and registering recipes?

Accepted Answer

When you order our formulations, we take care of the registration and associated procedures free of charge. This includes, for example, the preparation of a safety report or CPNP/PID registration under your company name.

Question 15

Can we order a dermatological test for the recipes we order?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can order a Dermatest for every prescription you order from us, at your own expense. Since the Dermatest is very comprehensive, we ask that you inquire about the duration and costs before placing an order.

Question 16

Is there a possibility to receive test samples of the recipes we are interested in?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you should definitely order samples of the recipes you are interested in so that you can see the quality of the recipes for yourself.

Please note that the recipes are not stock items and each sample must be individually produced for you in our laboratory, which takes between 30 and 60 minutes. Unfortunately, we must charge a nominal fee for each sample to cover our costs. This currently amounts to €50 per product + VAT, including shipping within Germany. Postage is added for international shipping. If you order within one year, the sample fee will be credited.

What are Prime Cosmetic’s payment terms?

For new customers and first orders, we work with a 50% deposit upon receipt of the order and the final payment before delivery. For regular and existing customers, the final payment is possible upon invoice after approval by the credit agencies.
